I refer to the Supervisory Order (“the Order”), dated September 15, 2006, enacting as a law of Brcko District the Law on Civil Service in Administrative Bodies of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina (“the Law”), and to my letter dated September 25, 2006, (“the Letter”) published in Official Gazette of the Brcko District of BiH, no. 29/06, having the legal effect of amending the Law.
The Law on Servants and Employees in the Brcko District Judiciary has been adopted in the meantime by the Assembly, with which the condition as set up in the Letter has been met. However, the Law on Servants and Employees in the Expert Service has not been adopted yet, in spite of the deadline set up in the letter. In order to prevent any legal vacuum or ambiguity, I am hereby amending the Article 3(3) of the Law to read:
“The provisions of this Law shall apply by analogy to the employees of the District Judiciary, the District Assembly Expert Service, and other administrative services in the bodies and institutions financed from the District budget, unless otherwise stipulated by a separate law.”
This letter has the legal effect of amending the Order and the Law enacted by it. You should arrange for this letter to be promptly published in the Official Gazette of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
