The trade union leaders expressed their deep concerns over the new staffing plan of the Brcko municipal administration. A frank and constructive exchange of views ensued.
After a lengthy discussion the trade union leaders and the Supervisor and his colleagues agreed on the text of a memorandum of understanding that contains a core agreement which will protect the rights of the municipal workers who will be asked to vacate their jobs as part of the multi-ethnic process in Brcko's administration.
The Supervisor reminds all participants - the trade unions, the R.S. government and the Brcko municipal government and all in leadership positions -- of their responsibilities to work toward bringing a better quality of life to all residents of the Brcko municipality.
