OHR Mostar strongly condemns the crime which occurred last night in the Centre of the City

Office of the High Representative in Mostar is deeply angered by the most horrific crime which occurred last night in the Centre of the City and most strongly condemns this act of crime. At the same time members of the Office express their deepest regret because of the large number of injured to whom they send their most sincere wishes for their speedy recovery.

This criminal act which there is absolutely no justification occurred in the moment when the situation in Mostar was on the right track to become stabilised. Therefore, we appeal to the citizens and all political factors to remain calm in order not to jeopardise the achieved progress in the normalisation of the situation.

Office of the High Representative demands that the terrorists who have committed this attack against innocent citizens will be arrested and prosecuted as soon as possible.
