Only two months left to register claims for socially-owned apartments in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Thousands of people who used to live in socially-owned apartments located in territory that is now in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will lose their occupancy rights if they do not file their claims by October 4 1998.

In order to get the property back a claim must be filed with the housing authority in the Federation municipality where the apartment is located. Municipal authorities have the necessary claim forms, however if problems occur, The Coalition for return, UNHCR, OSCE, IOM, legal advisory centres in BiH and diplomatic missions abroad all hold copies as well.

File the claim by October 4 or you risk losing your occupancy right forever.
