Police Reform Discussion

Press statement from meeting of IC representatives with BiH party leaders inBrussels (Party leaders attending: SNSD, Milorad Dodik; PDP, Mladen Ivanic; HDZ 1990, Martin Raguz; HDZ BiH, Barisa Colak; DNS, Marko Pavic; SDS, Mladen Bosic).

- IC representatives and some BiH party leaders met in Brussels to discuss police reform following the PIC Steering Board meeting;

- EUPM Head of Mission, General Vincenzo Coppola, briefed the participants on the work of the Police Reform Directorate;

- It was clear to all participants that State and Entity governments and Parliaments would need to agree on a plan for implementation of police reform;

- All participants agreed to meet again after the Directorate produced its report to continue talks;

- All confirmed that dialogue must continue.
