On April 30 1998, young athletes from throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and numerous other countries will come together in Sarajevo for the International Athletic Meeting of Friendship for Juniors-Sarajevo '98.

This meeting provide an excellent opportunity for the younger generations of this country in build new friendships, both at home and abroad, and represent Bosnia and Herzegovina's expanding profile in international sports.

Convinced of the role sport can play in the process of reconciliation and the re-establishment of contacts, the High Representative would like to take this opportunity to declare his full support for this Meeting.
